MARIMARI

One woman’s fight against sorcery violence

MARIMARI is an intimate and powerful documentary that follows indigenous human rights defender Evelyn Kunda as she rescues survivors of sorcery accusation-related violence (SARV) in Papua New Guinea. This verité-style film offers a raw look at Evelyn's relentless efforts to protect innocent lives, amidst a growing crisis fueled by rapid social change. Both moving and urgent, MARIMARI is a call to action against the rising tide of violence in the Pacific.
