Film series - Anti-violence and anti-sorcery

Led by Paul Wolffram in Goroka, Papua New Guinea

Over a five-week period, three production groups were led in a series of workshops focused on storytelling for social media. The groups were specifically designed with a pedagogy aimed at teaching storytelling and acting in short formats, with the goal of producing anti-violence and anti-sorcery videos.

Over the course of three weeks, three workshops were held each with separate youth groups, resulting in the production of two videos per group. After two weeks of training, participants shot two short videos each day, and by the end six short videos of 2 minutes each were produced. The videos were disseminated within the participants’ own social media networks and via WhatsApp.
